Bogota. June 10, 2022. @MinInterior. The Minister of the Interior set up the WIBF-Colombia 2022 World Indigenous Business Forum, an international meeting showcasing indigenous entrepreneurs and their projects.

The Interior department seeks to enable indigenous communities to join the Global Business Network and easily market their products.

«We announce that the general event of the WIBF-Colombia 2022 World Indigenous Business Forum will be held from October 26 to 28 this year in the city of Villavicencio.»

The National Government, through the Bank for Indigenous Communities and Peoples, has made an investment of $356.379 million COP by financing 912 projects benefiting more than 1,595 indigenous people in Colombia’s 32 departments.

This meeting was attended by 300 people, including representatives of communities and leaders from 16 countries of the world, 200 representatives of indigenous communities of the country, as well as special guests.
