Boyacá, Garagoa. July 1, 2022. @MinInterior. The Head of Policy, Daniel Palacios, arrived in the municipality of Garagoa in the southeastern department of Boyacá to deliver a Municipal Administration Center or CAM.
$3.49 billion COP worth of resources were allocated to this project, benefiting more than 17,932 inhabitants in the region.
With 3 floors and 480 meters of construction in each of them, this place will allow greater efficiency in service delivery, development and strengthening of governance.
“Today we show that in both Tuta and Garagoa there can be public offices that improve care for the public and its inhabitants. The inhabitants of Garagoa will have one of the best Municipal Administration Centers in the country,” said the head of policy.
Currently, the Ministry of Interior has 257 construction sites nationwide worth $542,714 million COP, 19 of which are in the department of Boyacá, an investment of more than $32,959 million COP.
“We are sending a message of support, solidarity, and pedagogy to the more than 80 families who deserve to have a decent job in this CAM. In addition, the construction of this facility generated about 140 quality jobs for the citizens of Boyacá, contributing to the economic revival, transforming lives and generating development and better conditions for its inhabitants,” said the MinInterior.
